No shocking result in a game in Avellino where fourth ranked Scandone AV (17-8) defeated 10th ranked Openjobmetis VA (10-15) 89-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Scandone AV. Openjobmetis VA was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Scandone AV made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Scandone AV will face bottom-ranked Auxilium TO (#16) in Torino in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Openjobmetis VA will play at home against Giorgo Tesi PT (#5) and hope to win that game.
