Regular Season Round 25: Le Mans - Nanterre 84-82

The most exciting game of round 25 in the ProA took place in Le Mans. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked JSF Nanterre (15-10) to eighth ranked Le Mans (16-9) 84-82 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 24-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four Le Mans players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Cameroonian Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91) responded with 33 points (!!!) and international center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (208-94) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Le Mans moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gravelines. JSF Nanterre at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Chalon. Le Mans is looking forward to face Cholet Basket (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JSF Nanterre will play against Chalons-Reims (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
