1/8 Finals Round 3: Zalgiris II - Silute 78-62

Zalgiris II outgunned Silute to complete the sweep of the series. Silute was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 42-25 second half run of Zalgiris II. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Silute's 28. They outrebounded Silute 43-24 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Silute was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Martynas Echodas (204-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Gytis Masiulis (202-98) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Zalgiris II players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Edvinas Alunderis (202-92) with 11 points and American point guard Jordan Hester (183, college: Robert Morris) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
