Leader Stelmet delivered the twenty second victory. This time they crushed 17th ranked MKS Start (4-23) 100-53 in Zielona Gora. The game without a history. Stelmet led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Stelmet outrebounded MKS Start 39-18 including a 26-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Stelmet players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (203-92, college: Georgia) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and international swingman Karol Gruszecki (193-89, college: Texas Arlington) accounted for 13 points. Four Stelmet players scored in double figures. Center Jaroslaw Trojan (207-93) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Jan Grzelinski (180-94, college: Canisius) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for MKS Start in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 22-3 record. MKS Start at the other side stay dead last with 23 lost games. Stelmet's next round opponent will be Anwil (#4) in Wloclawek. MKS Start will play at home against Trefl (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
