Batumi did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-63. The game was mostly controlled by Batumi. Mgzavrebi was better in second period 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ukrainian forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kutaisi. Mgzavrebi at the other side keeps the fifth place with 12 games lost. Batumi's next round opponent will be Olimpi (#7) in Tbilisi which should be theoretically an easy game. Mgzavrebi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Dinamo Tbilisi.
