Regular Season Round 20: Mondeville - Arras 58-68

Bottom-ranked Arras managed to get a third victory, breaking the six-game losing streak. This time they won against eighth-ranked Mondeville 68-58. It looked good early as Mondeville took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Arras had a 23-13 second period charge getting the lead and Mondeville was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 58-68. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Brooque Williams (175-89, college: California, PA) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian forward Stephany Skrba (188-87, college: Michigan) who added 7 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. International point guard Marine Johannes (174-95, agency: Comsport) responded with 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Marieme Badiane (190-94) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Arras (3-17) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with COB Calais. Mondeville lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Nantes. Arras will play against bottom-ranked COB Calais (#14) at home in the next round. Mondeville will play against Nantes Reze (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
