No shocking result in a game when second ranked Roche (17-4) crushed bottom-ranked CFBB (1-20) in Paris 88-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Roche led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 7 points in first quarter. Roche forced 19 CFBB turnovers. It was a good game for guard Johana Tayeau (173-89) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 4 assists. Naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Roche players scored in double figures. Center Ana Tadic (190-98) answered with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Alexia Chartereau (189-98) added 14 points in the effort for CFBB. CFBB's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Roche. They maintain second place with 17-4 record having just three points less than leader Tarbes. CFBB lost their fifteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Roche will face SIG (#7) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
