Regular Season Round 28: Lourdes - Berck 90-82

Date: March 26, 2016
Very expected game when 17th ranked Berck (10-18) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (18-10) 90-82. It looked good early as Berck took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lourdes-Tarbes had a 24-15 second period charge getting the lead and Berck was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-90. Lourdes-Tarbes dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Berck's 36. They outrebounded Berck 39-20 including a 14-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Masse Doumbe (203-87, college: Kaiser, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. Jamaican forward Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Alliman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Jamaican forward Justin Rutty (200-89, college: Quinnipiac) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Canadian-Bosnian guard Nemanja Mitrovic (197-90, college: Portland, agency: Court Side) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Berck. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lourdes-Tarbes moved-up to second place, which they share with Maurienne and St Vallier.
