Important game to mention about took place in Chartres. Eighth ranked Avenir (10-11) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Limoges (10-11) 56-55 in the fight for the sixth place. Limoges was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 13-10 charge of Avenir, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 Limoges turnovers. American Mariesa Greene (183-87, college: Barry) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Slovakian forward Simona Podesvova (186-83) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds.
