The game in Prishtina supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Bashkimi (14-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Kerasan (1-21). Bashkimi smashed Kerasan 110-64. The game was mostly controlled by Bashkimi. Kerasan was better in second period 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bashkimi forced 30 Kerasan turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The former international forward Granit Rugova (198-85, college: Trinity Valley CC) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and Lithuanian forward Rokas Uzas (202-88) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Bashkimi players scored in double figures. At the losing side Kreshnik Mucolli responded with 17 points and Muhamed Alijanjeva scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bashkimi maintains third place with 14-7 record having eight points less than leader Peja. Kerasan lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 21 lost games. Bashkimi will play against Trepca (#4) in Mitrovice in the next round.
