Fourteenth-ranked Cholet Basket (9-17) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Le Mans (17-9). The visitors from Le Mans managed to secure only one-point victory 70-69. However their fans expected much easier game. Cholet Basket was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 16-13 charge of Le Mans, which allowed them to win the game.
