Regular Season Round 30: Macae - Flamengo 62-92

NBB top team - Flamengo (23-5) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Macae (6-22) 92-62. The game without a history. Flamengo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Macae's 26 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Flamengo forced 20 Macae turnovers. It was a good game for the former international Marcelo Machado (201-75, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 4 assists. The former international Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Flamengo's coach Jose Neto felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Anderson Mosso (205-82, college: Chipola JC) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Eddy Carvalho (196-87) added 11 points in the effort for Macae. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Flamengo have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 23-5 record. Macae at the other side stay dead last with 22 lost games.
