Leader Trelleborg recorded the eighteenth victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Lobas (8-12) 104-76 in Lomma. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. Lobas was better in second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trelleborg dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Lobas' 36. Guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) nailed 27 points for the winning side and Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) accounted for 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jesper Wennerholm (188-96) came up with 16 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and guard Ted Cedermarker (182-79) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Lobas in the defeat. Four Trelleborg and five Lobas players scored in double figures. Lobas' coach Jorgen Lillieholm gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Trelleborg. They maintain first place with 18-6 record. Lobas lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. Trelleborg will have a break next round. Lobas will play at home against Brahe Basket (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
