Regular Season Round 21: Bourges - Hainaut 83-53

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Bourges (17-3) outscored at home 8th ranked Hainaut (8-12) 83-53 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Bourges. Hainaut managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Hainaut to just 7 points in second quarter. Bourges dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Hainaut's 30. They outrebounded Hainaut 39-27 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bourges looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Hainaut's players. Defending champion maintains second place with 17-3 record having just three points less than leader Lattes Montp. Hainaut lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost. Bourges will meet Villeneuve D'Ascq (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hainaut will play against Nantes Reze (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
