Bakken dominated from start to finish to overcome Naestved in the opener. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American Shawn Glover (201-90, college: ORU, agency: Comsport) fired 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Thomas Laerke (195-91) chipped in 18 points. Senegalese forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Troy Franklin (183-89, college: Coppin St.) added 23 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
