An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tallinn. Top-ranked Kalev/Cramo faced their biggest opponent TU/Rock. Host Kalev/Cramo (32-0) defeated guests from Tartu (24-7) 78-68. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. TU/Rock was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TU/Rock 46-28 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Rain Veideman (192-91) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Tanel Kurbas (197-88) replied with 18 points and Lithuanian center Karolis Petrukonis (212-87, college: Clemson) added 11 points in the effort for TU/Rock. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 32-0 record. Defending champion TU/Rock keeps the second place with seven games lost. Kalev/Cramo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. TU/Rock will play on the road against Valga and hopes to get back on the winning track.
