LigaA top team - GECR Indalo (28-18) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Boca Juniors (21-27) in Comodoro R. 88-61. The game was mostly controlled by GECR Indalo. Boca Juniors was better in fourth quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Boca Juniors 43-27 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. GECR Indalo players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Boca Juniors' players. The former international Federico Aguerre (203-88) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American center Sam Clancy (202-80, college: USC, agency: DTMones) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds. The former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-82) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds and center Kevin Hernandez (204-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Boca Juniors in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. GECR Indalo maintains first place with 28-18 record. Boca Juniors at the other side keeps the seventh position with 27 games lost. GECR Indalo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
