Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Libertad Sunchales (27-22) defeated at home 7th ranked Instituto C. (22-26) 84-74 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Libertad Sunchales. Instituto C. managed to win second period 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Juan Brussino (185-91) fired 31 points for the winners. Paraguayan center Guillermo Araujo (204-82, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Jazwin Cowan (203-83, college: Hampton, agency: DTMones) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import swingman J.R. Giddens (196-85, college: N.Mexico) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Libertad Sunchales moved-up to third place, which they share with La Union. Instituto C. lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 26 games lost. They share it with Regatas C.. Libertad Sunchales will meet at home league's second-placed Quimsa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Instituto C. will have a break next round.
