Regular Season Round 25: Nantes - Lille 99-93 OT

Lille Metropole (#11) forced the game against Nantes (#9) into an overtime, but lost by six points 93-99. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lille Metropole. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lille Metropole won fourth quarter 27-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Lille Metropole used huge pressure winning it 27-18 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 7-13. Nantes made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Lille Metropole helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: I.D.S. Law) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Nantes players scored in double figures. Nantes' coach Franck Collineau allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Tajuan Porter (170-88, college: Oregon) answered with 33 points (!!!) and guard T.J. Price (193-93, college: W.Kentucky) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Lille Metropole. Nantes maintains ninth place with 12-13 record, which they share with Vichy Clermont. Lille Metropole at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Nantes' next round opponent will be league's second-placed ALM Evreux on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lille Metropole will play against Charleville-Mezieres (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
