Quarter-Finals Round 2: Halle - Herner 81-77

Halle held off Herner to force the decisive third game in the quarterfinal series. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 23-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. SV Halle Lions forced 19 Herner TC turnovers. The best player for the winners was Belarusian point guard Alexandra Tarasava (171-88) who scored 27 points and 5 assists. American swingman Kristen McCarthy (182-90, college: Temple) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. SV Halle Lions' coach Rene Spandauw used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
