Regular Season Round 24: Sant Adria - Plenilunio 57-54

Sixth-ranked Plenilunio (13-11) gave a tough game to second ranked Sant Adria (18-6) in Sant Adria de Besos on Saturday. Sant Adria managed to secure only three-point victory 57-54. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 17-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Ainhoa Lopez (180-97) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and power forward Cris Hurtado (187-92) who added 4 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Sant Adria's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Laura Velasco (172-90) with 17 points and center Daira Varas (193-89) scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Sant Adria have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 18-6 record having four points less than leader Alcobendas, which they share with Rivas Promete. Plenilunio at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with IF Air Europa. Sant Adria is looking forward to face Leganes (#4) on the road in the next round. Plenilunio will play against IF Air Europa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
