The game in Huddinge was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Wetterbygden (12-10) played at the court of sixth ranked Huddinge (11-11). Huddinge managed to secure a 5-point victory 96-91 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-91. Huddinge looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Jamaal Sakariya (-93) notched 24 points to lead the effort and center Martin Hyberg (211-90, college: Kirkwood CC) supported him with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by forward Jonathan Peleg (191-94) did not help to save the game for Wetterbygden. Guard Albin Eriksson (189-96) added 19 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Wetterbygden's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Huddinge moved-up to fifth place. Wetterbygden lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Huddinge will meet league's second-placed Koping on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Wetterbygden will have a break next round.
