Adareva (#4) was upset in SC Laguna by seventh ranked Maquinaria Ensino 73-64. The game without a history. Maquinaria Ensino led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maquinaria Ensino forced 22 Adareva turnovers. Strangely Adareva outrebounded Maquinaria Ensino 42-27 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Tamara Montero (168-94) who scored 29 points and 4 assists. Forward Raquel Asensio (178-83) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (170-96) who recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Laura Bejarano (180-82) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Adareva's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Maquinaria Ensino maintains seventh position in Group A with 12-12 record, which they share with RC Celta. Newly promoted Adareva dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Maquinaria Ensino will meet at home league's leader Al-Qazeres in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Adareva will play against C.Adelantados (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
