Seventh-ranked TTU (11-21) made lots of trouble for third ranked TLU/Kalev (18-13) in Tallinn on Saturday. TLU/Kalev managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected much easier game. TTU was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) fired 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Tom Droney (197-91, college: Davidson) chipped in 11 points, 8 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-90) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) added 9 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. TLU/Kalev maintains third position with 18-13 record having fifteen points less than leader Kalev/Cramo. TTU at the other side keeps the seventh place with 21 games lost. TLU/Kalev are looking forward to face Valga (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. TTU will have a break next round.
