Very expected game in Cundinamarca where Patriotas (0-2) were defeated by Condores (2-0) 84-80 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Condores outrebounded Patriotas 43-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Byron Westmorland (193-90, college: Bowie St.) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Titus Mims (201, college: Hardin-Simmons) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized American guard Julio Velandia (188-90, college: Missouri Baptist) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Patriotas players scored in double figures. Condores will meet Bucaros (#5) in the next round. Patriotas will play against Halcones and hope to win that game.
