We should mention about the upset which took place in Lavrio, where 8th ranked Lavrio (10-15) lost at home to eleventh ranked Aiolos Trikallon (8-17) 75-80 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lavrio. American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) fired 28 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. British point guard Justin Robinson (186-87, college: Rider, agency: HMS) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Gambian forward Ousman Krubally (201-88, college: Georgia St.) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Nikos Barlos (203-79) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Lavrio players scored in double figures. Lavrio's coach Christos Serellis tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Aiolos Trikallon maintains eleventh place with 8-17 record, which they share with Arkadikos. Newly promoted Lavrio dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. Aiolos Trikallon will face higher ranked Apollon Patras (#10) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
