Fourteenth-ranked Sangiorgese (7-20) gave a tough game to second ranked Orzinuovi GaGa (22-3) in San Giorgio on Sunday. The visitors from Orzinuovi managed to secure only one-point victory 62-61. However their fans expected much easier game. Orzinuovi GaGa forced 22 Sangiorgese turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Marco Bona (192-89, agency: Two Points) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Rodolfo Valenti (198-80) chipped in 24 points and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Andrea Tassinari (182-96) who recorded 23 points and swingman Paolo Vitali (192-81) added 5 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Orzinuovi GaGa maintains second place in B with 22-3 record having 2 victories less than leader Roma E-basket.
