Regular Season Round 52: Takamatsu FA - Okinawa GK 68-82

BJ League top team - Okinawa GK (36-10) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eleventh ranked Takamatsu FA (11-34) 82-68. Okinawa GK players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Evan Ravenel (203-89, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Okinawa GK players scored in double figures. Okinawa GK's coach Tsutomu Isa allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side forward Nino Johnson (206-93, college: SE Missouri St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Okinawa GK have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 36-10 record. Takamatsu FA lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 34 games lost. Okinawa GK will play against Hiroshima L. (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Takamatsu FA will play against Hamamatsu Phoenix and hopes to get back on the winning track.
