Second Stage Round 15: Boras II - RIG Mark 97-69

Very expected game when 8th ranked RIG Mark (6-17) was crushed on the road by third ranked Boras II (14-8) 97-69 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Boras II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to RIG Mark's 36. They outrebounded RIG Mark 46-23 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Boras II looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Robin Alm (184-93) who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Joakim Gustafsson (204-97) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five Boras II players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alexander Karras (187-98) who recorded 18 points and Oskar Lim added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. RIG Mark's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Boras II. They maintain third place with 14-8 record having just nine point less than leader Trelleborg. RIG Mark lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
