No shocking result in a game in Joondalup where fifth ranked Wanneroo (3-1) outleveled 9th ranked Redbacks (2-3) 116-78 on Friday. Wanneroo dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Redbacks' 42. Wanneroo forced 21 Redbacks turnovers and outrebounded them 54-34 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Redbacks' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Wanneroo made 7 blocks. American forward Bobby Evans (203-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import center Kevin Davis (206-91, college: Cent.Washington) chipped in 20 points.
