Everything went according to plan when thirteenth ranked Chalons-Reims (13-15) beat on the road 17th ranked SPO Rouen (5-23) 98-80 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Chalons-Reims. SPO Rouen was better in fourth quarter 27-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Chalons-Reims looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. At the losing side Guerschon Yabusele (201-95, agency: Comsport) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the former international center Alain Koffi (207-83, agency: Beo Basket) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four SPO Rouen players scored in double figures. Chalons-Reims moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Orleans. SPO Rouen lost ninth consecutive game.
