Regular Season Round 29: Prat - Penas Huesca 68-64

Bottom-ranked CB Prat managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against sixth-ranked Lobe Huesca 68-64. Lobe Huesca was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. CB Prat shot 17 for 23 from the free-throw line, while Lobe Huesca only scored 0 point from the stripe. Guard Alex Ros (193-83) nailed 21 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winning side and power forward Gerbert Marti (203-91) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four CB Prat players scored in double figures. Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) came up with 8 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Brazilian power forward Daniel Bordignon (206-96) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Lobe Huesca in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. CB Prat (10-19) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Planasa NV. Lobe Huesca at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 14 games lost. CB Prat will play against higher ranked Ourense (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lobe Huesca will play against Cocinas.com and hopes to get back on the winning track.
