An exciting game was played in Prishtina. Second ranked Sigal Prishtina faced 3rd placed Bashkimi. Host Sigal Prishtina (19-4) smashed guests from Prizren (15-8) 94-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bashkimi. The game without a history. Sigal Prishtina led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bashkimi's 30 and made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Sigal Prishtina had a 35-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Jason Washburn (210-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international Dardan Berisha (193-88) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Sigal Prishtina's coach Antonis Konstantinides felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian forward Rokas Uzas (203-88) who recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Albanian center Endrit Hysenagolli (210-88) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five Sigal Prishtina and four Bashkimi players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second place with 19-4 record having just three points less than leader Peja. Bashkimi at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Sigal Prishtina are looking forward to face Ylli (#5) in Suhareke in the next round. Bashkimi will play at home against Vellaznimi and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
