No shocking result in a game when second ranked Frayles de Guasave (11-4) defeated at home 7th ranked Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (6-7) 105-94 on Friday. Frayles de Guasave made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon only scored six points from the stripe. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jeremie Hart (188, college: McMurry) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and guard DK Eldridge (188, college: N.Mexico St.) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Frayles de Guasave's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Damon Smith (200-88, college: Mary) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Landon Atterberry (198, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Five Frayles de Guasave and four Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. Frayles de Guasave keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Hermosillo. Newly promoted Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. Frayles de Guasave will again meet at home Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon will have a break next round.
