Regular Season Round 31: GET Vosges - La Rochelle 75-53

Date: April 8, 2016
Not a big story in a game in Golbey where 15th ranked La Rochelle (13-18) was rolled over by third ranked GET Vosges (19-12) 75-53 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-53. It was a great evening for Serbian guard Nemanja Marinkovic (187-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Naturalized Ivorian forward Remi Dibo (201-91, college: W.Virginia, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Slovakian power forward Justin Sedlak (206-87, college: Florida Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Faycal Sahraoui (186-79) scored 6 points and 5 assists. GET Vosges have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Lourdes and St Vallier. Loser La Rochelle keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. GET Vosges will face Quimper UJAP (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. La Rochelle will play against UB Chartres (#8) and hope to win that game.
