Very predictable result when fifth ranked Aros Leon (17-8) outscored at home 14th ranked ADBA (1-23) 104-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Aros Leon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Aros Leon outrebounded ADBA 45-28 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Point guard Lucia Alonso (171-98) fired 26 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American power forward Aulani Sinclair (186-90, college: Indiana) chipped in 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Aros Leon's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Congolese center Bashala Emilie (196-94) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Andrea Malanda (164-90) added 18 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Aros Leon. They moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with C.Adelantados. ADBA lost their seventeenth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 23 games lost. Aros Leon will face Badajoz BF (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ADBA will play against Aragon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
