This time Knox Raiders used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Tullamarine 64-60 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the second position in League. Worth to mention a great performance of Rebecca Ott who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Elli Lovelace (178-90) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Colleen Planeta (188-88, college: Point Loma) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Vivien Saad scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Hume City Broncos players scored in double figures. Knox Raiders (3-0) moved-up to second place in League. Loser Hume City Broncos dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. Knox Raiders will face Wildcats (#10) in Eltham in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hume City Broncos will play on the road against Tigers (#8) in Melbourne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
