Seventh-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (14-13) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked FC Barcelona (25-2) in Madrid on Saturday. The visitors from Barcelona managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-14. But Baloncesto Fuenlabrada won second period 22-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Baloncesto Fuenlabrada helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. FC Barcelona have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 25-2 record. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Unicaja. FC Barcelona are looking forward to face Laboral Kutxa (#4) in Vitoria in the next round.
