Second Stage Round 10: Arantia - BC Mess 85-76

An interesting game for Arantia (21-7) which hosted in Larochette one of their biggest challengers BC Mess (16-12). Second ranked Arantia managed to get a 9-point victory 85-76. It was a very good performance for American power forward Mike Jones (203-83, college: N.Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Aaron Harrison (198-93, college: Lynn) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Arantia's coach Mike Smith used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slovenian power forward Marko Vranjkovic (204-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and American swingman Elijah Bonsignore (198, college: S.New Hampshire, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for BC Mess. Newly promoted Arantia maintains second position in League with 21-7 record having just eight point less than leader Residence. BC Mess at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third place with 12 games lost. Arantia will face league's second-placed Contern in Luxembourg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Mess will play at home against Heffingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
