There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Sangiorgese (8-20) won against on the road higher ranked Desio (11-17) 71-66 on Saturday. Sangiorgese dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Desio's 26. Power forward Alessandro Priuli (200-86, agency: Players Group) fired 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Francesco Toso (203-96) chipped in 10 points.
