An interesting game for Spirou Charleroi (7-6) which hosted in Charleroi Okapi Aalstar (7-6). Spirou Charleroi managed to get a 10-point victory 92-82. The game was mostly controlled by Spirou Charleroi. Okapi Aalstar was better in third quarter 26-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Spirou Charleroi made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American point guard Billy Baron (188-90, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import Seamus Boxley (201-82, college: Portland St.) helped adding 16 points. Four Spirou Charleroi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Pensack Sports) with 22 points and 4 assists and forward Vincent Kesteloot (201-95, agency: Priority Sports) scored 17 points. Okapi Aalstar's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Spirou Charleroi will play against Antwerp Giants (#5) on the road in the next round. Okapi Aalstar will play against Antwerp Giants and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
