Sluc Nancy (#16) forced the game against Cholet Basket (#15) into an overtime, but lost by two points 83-85. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-15. But Sluc Nancy won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Sluc Nancy used huge pressure winning it 18-14 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 11-13. Point guard Benjamin Sene (186-94, agency: Comsport) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Andy Panko (203-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: Beo Basket) added 27 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sluc Nancy. Cholet Basket maintains fifteenth position with 10-18 record. Sluc Nancy at the other side keeps the sixteenth place with 19 games lost. Cholet Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Chalon/Saor (#7) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
