A very close game took place in Lyon between Mondeville and Lyon. Tenth ranked Mondeville (9-14) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Lyon (11-12). Mondeville managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lyon. International point guard Marine Johannes (174-95, agency: Comsport) accounted for 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds and the other American import center Latoya Williams (192-87, college: Chipola JC) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Lyon in the defeat. Mondeville moved-up to ninth place. Loser Lyon keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Mondeville will meet at home Angers (#11) in the next round. Lyon will play against Toulouse (#12) and hope to secure a win.
