Regular Season Round 4: Rockingham CF - Lakeside L. 77-61

There was no surprise in Rockingham where 8th ranked Lightning (1-3) was defeated by first ranked Flames (5-1) 77-61 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Darcy Garbin (185-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and center Jacinta Bourne (199-91) who added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Ali Schwagmeyer (180-90, college: Quincy) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Ashleigh Grant (-97) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Flames maintains first position in League with 5-1 record. Loser Lightning dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Flames will have a break next round. Lightning will play at home against Eagles (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
