An interesting game took place in Vitre where higher ranked Rueil (18-13) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Vitre (14-17) 97-83 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Vitre. Rueil was better in fourth quarter 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Five Vitre and four Rueil players scored in double figures. Vitre have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Bordeaux. Loser Rueil keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. Vitre will face higher ranked Vendee Challans (#11) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rueil will play against Aix-Maurienne (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
