Seventh-ranked Kanazawa Samuraiz (26-22) made lots of trouble for second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (37-11) on Sunday. Kyoto Hannar. managed to secure only six-point victory 95-89. However their fans expected much easier game. Kanazawa Samuraiz was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 4-10s. Kyoto Hannar. made 31-of-34 free shots (91.2 percent) during the game. Kanazawa Samuraiz was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch.
