Regular Season Round 28: Valsesia - Forli 72-67

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Forli (22-6) against sixth ranked Valsesia (18-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Forli was defeated by Valsesia in a tough game in Valsesia 67-72. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Simone Tomasini (197-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. Swingman Edoardo Giovara (199-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Valsesia players scored in double figures. Power forward Paolo Rotondo (204-89, agency: Players Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds and guard Michele Ferri (191-85) added 17 points in the effort for Forli. Forli's coach Luigi Garelli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Valsesia moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Crema. Forli at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Bergamo. Valsesia will play against Trecate (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Forli will play against Livorno (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
