Regular Season Round 28: Roseto - Ravenna 85-70

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Ravenna's (16-13) road loss to fifth ranked Roseto (18-10) 70-85 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Roseto's pressure prevailed and they won that period 31-17 extending their advantage to 15 points. Roseto outrebounded Ravenna 44-24 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Bryon Allen (190-92, college: George Mason) fired 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Jacopo Borra (215-90, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. American power forward Taylor Smith (200-91, college: SF Austin) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Michael Deloach (185-86, college: Norfolk St.) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Roseto moved-up to fourth place in A2. Loser Ravenna dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Roseto will face Recanati (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ravenna will play against the league's leader Mantovana (#1) and hope to win that game.
