Regular Season Round 28: Novipiu Casale - Agropoli 80-82

Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Agropoli (17-11) edged on the road 9th ranked Novipiu Casale (13-15) 82-80 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Novipiu Casale won third quarter 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naturalized Canadian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American Terrence Roderick (196-88, college: UAB) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Nicola Natali (200-88) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Brett Blizzard (191-80, college: NC-Wilmington, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Agropoli and five Novipiu Casale players scored in double figures. Agropoli moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Novipiu Casale dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost. Agropoli will face Latina Basket (#9) at home in the next round. Novipiu Casale will play against Casalpusterlengo and hope to win that game.
