Very expected game in Corugate where 11th ranked Carugate (9-17) was defeated by sixth ranked Albino (13-13) 74-59 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Albino's pressure prevailed and they won that period 22-14 extending their advantage to 15 points. It was a great shooting night for Albino especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Croatian center Gordana Bedalov (191-84, college: FIU) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Laura Fumagalli (178-85) chipped in 12 points during the contest. Albino's coach Michele Pasqua used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Claudia Colli (178-96) responded with 15 points and the former international guard Susanna Stabile (178-80) scored 14 points. Despite that victory Albino went down to seventh position (A2) due to points difference. Loser Carugate keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost.
